Saint Joseph’s University has been a fixture of the Philadelphia community for more than 150 years, and this third painting in Nicholas Santoleri’s Barbelin Hall series captures the preeminent fixture of the campus community.
This iconic structure stands as the most recognizable building of the campus, even amid its current expansion and modernization efforts. The university has been operating since 1851, and the modernization efforts will help provide all students with an education for the 21st century. This print was reproduced from the original watercolor. painted in 2013. Artist Proof and Remarque editions of this piece are also available, though quantities are extremely limited.
